This organic cotton jersey knit is drapey and very soft, with 30% stretch across the grain (it stretches widthwise, but not lengthwise, as there is no spandex added). It's made from GOTS certified 100% organic cotton. Perfect for tops, loungewear, dresses or tees, this fabric is light but durable (130g per m²).
This is wider than traditional quilting fabric – it’s 152cm (58-60") wide.
This fabric is sold in half yard increments: one unit equals one half yard. The fabric will be cut in one continuous piece regardless of how many units you order (i.e. if you order 4 units you will receive a single 2 yard piece).
Prewashing is recommended for all knits, and all fabrics that will be used for garments. as this fabric will shrink a bit the first time you wash it.
Speaking of washing, the manufacturer's care instructions are: Machine wash cold, normal cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron without stretching.
