What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards. You can pay using our secure checkout process on our site, or if you prefer you can check out using Paypal.
What about currency?
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. For other currencies you can find an easy-to-use currency converter at www.xe.com/
Do I have to pay any tax?
Canadian orders will be charged 13% HST (with some provincial variations). Residents of other countries are responsible for any taxes they may incur after shipping.
Where are you located? I want to know where my order is shipped from.
Studio Fabric Shop is located in Toronto, Canada.
How do you ship?
All North American orders are sent via Canada Post, mostly using Expedited service. Most orders are trackable and insured. Orders are processed and shipped within two business days (faster if possible), and delivery should be within 1-7 days depending on your location. If extra-speedy or courier shipment is required, please send me an email when you complete your order. I will do my best to accommodate special shipping requests.
International orders are usually sent via Canada Post's Small Parcel Air service. If your order is large and/or the distance is far, I will calculate the shipping options and let you know what they are so that you can make a decision before your order ships. Depending on your location, delivery may take up to a few weeks. We will give you more specific information when your order is shipped.
How do you send gift orders?
If your order is a gift, please tell me with a note at checkout! I am pleased to enclose a note on your behalf with whatever message you like, and to leave out the invoice. If you forget to include a note at checkout you can email me at email@example.com.
I'm in a rush; can you ship my order more quickly?
If you need your items as quickly as possible, let me know with a note when you place your order, and I will let you know how quickly I can ship, and what shipping alternatives I can offer you (e.g. courier or express service).
Can I pick up my order?
Yes! I offer contactless porch pickup in the East York/Danforth area of Toronto. Select pickup when you check out, and you'll receive detailed pickup instructions when your order is ready (usually with one day).
How much does shipping cost?
I am currently offering flat-rate shipping of $15 across Canada. Rates range from $15-$25 to the United States, and $22-$35 for the rest of the world. The larger the order, the lower your shipping fee (relative to the actual cost, which we cover. Often for large orders we pay double what you are charged, but want to keep your shipping fees as low as possible).
Please note that we are not responsible for customs or brokerage charges incurred on shipments travelling outside of Canada. These will vary by country and it is the recipient's responsibility to pay these charges if they applied.
What about returns and exchanges?
At Studio Fabric Shop we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service. We inspect every item thoroughly before shipping, and try to photograph and describe items very accurately. Please let us know if there is any problem with your order within 7 days of receiving it. We will quickly refund or replace any defective or incorrectly-shipped item if it is returned in its original condition.
We generally do not accept returns on cut fabric. If you feel that we misrepresented the appearance or quality of the fabric and you're not pleased with it, please let us know and we will consider accepting the return, but this will be done on a case-by-case basis.
All sale/clearance items are non-returnable.
Incorrect or Defective Items
We stand by the high quality of our products and service. If we have made a mistake in your order, or if you receive a defective item, we will gladly issue to you a full refund or replacement upon receipt and verification of the item.
if there is any problem with your order due to our human error, or a flaw in the product, we will absolutely refund or replace it and will cheerfully pay the full return shipping charge. Please keep in touch with us to let us know of any issues that come up - we aim to provide the best possible customer service.
