What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards. You can pay using our secure checkout process on our site, or if you prefer you can check out using Paypal. 

What about currency?
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. For other currencies you can find an easy-to-use currency converter at www.xe.com/

Do I have to pay any tax?
Canadian orders will be charged 13% HST (with some provincial variations). Residents of other countries are responsible for any taxes they may incur after shipping.

How do you ship? How long does it take?
Most Canadian orders are sent via Canada Post expedited service or Canpar. US orders are sent using USPS or Canada Post. Most orders are processed and shipped within two business days (often faster), and delivery is usually within 1-5 days depending on your location. If quicker shipment is required, please send us an email after you complete your order, we will do our best to accommodate special shipping requests. 

International orders are sent via Canada Post's Small Parcel Air service. Depending on your location, delivery may take up to a few weeks (but usually it's much faster). We will give you more specific information when your order is shipped.

If your order is a gift, we are pleased to enclose a note on your behalf, and to ship directly to the recipient. Just email use this information at info@studiofabricshop.com

Can I pick up my order?

During the COVID-19 crisis, with so many people sewing masks and eager to get their fabric quickly, I am offering porch pickup from my home in East York, Toronto. When checking out, select the delivery method "Pick up" to avoid the shipping fee, and you will be sent an email with details once your order is ready for you to pick up. 

How much does shipping cost?
I am currently offering flat-rate shipping of $12 across Canada. Rates range from $12-$25 to the United States, and $15-$32 for the rest of the world. The larger the order, the lower your shipping fee (relative to the actual cost, which we cover. Often for large orders we pay double what you are charged, but want to keep your shipping fees as low as possible).

Please note that we are not responsible for customs or brokerage charges incurred on shipments traveling outside of Canada. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us.

What about returns and exchanges?

We have tried to photograph and describe our fabrics and trims accurately, but if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, items can be returned in their original condition for exchange or refund. Please note that cut items can only be returned if they are one yard or greater - smaller pieces cannot be returned.

Please notify us of any returns or exchanges within 7 days. All sale/discounted items are non-returnable. You are responsible for the cost of shipping returns to us, and the mailing address is available in the "Contact Us" section.

if there is any problem with your order due to our human error, or a flaw in the product, we will absolutely refund or replace it and will cheerfully pay the full return shipping charge. Please keep in touch with us to let us know of any issues that come up - we aim to provide the best possible customer service.

Is your email list secure?
We manage our list using Mailchimp and Klaviyo, two very reputable and secure, internationally respected companies. We will not share or sell your personal information with third parties for any reason, ever. You may unsubscribe at any time.
