Shot cottons are lovely solids, usually woven with different colour threads in the warp and weft (though some, like this green, use the same colour). The texture is softer and the weight is a bit lighter and drapier than standard quilting cotton - it's still great in quilts, but also works well for clothing. There's a bit of variation in the thread weights, so these fabrics also have a bit more texture than standard quilting cottons, and the colour intensity is really nice.

This fabric is sold in half yard increments: one unit equals one half yard. The fabric will be cut in one continuous piece regardless of how many units you order (i.e. if you order 4 units you will receive a single 2 yard piece).

This is a lightweight 100% cotton fabric and is 44/45" (110 cm) wide, 4.19 oz per square yard.
