This fabric is a recent purchase from Japan. It's from designer ena harsilson and has a very Marimekko vibe. This large-scale floral is named "Kukat Kukkivat" which means "Flowers Bloom" in Finnish, but is more commonly described as Nordic Poppies. Whatever you call it, this fabric is bold and beautiful. It's printed on a natural (unbleached) base.Â
This fabric is sold in half yard increments: one unit equals one half yard. The fabric will be cut in one continuous piece regardless of how many units you order (i.e. if you order 4 units you will receive a single 2 yard piece).
This is a cotton/linen medium weight canvas, 80% cotton and 20% linen. It's perfect for bags, home decor items, jackets and skirts. It's 44/45" (110 cm) wide, made in Japan.
