From the "London Calling 9" collection by Robert Kaufman, this lovely 100% cotton lawn is light, airy, and perfect for summer quilts or clothing.
If you're not familiar with cotton lawn, it's a fine, lightweight, smooth cotton fabric (woven rather than knit, so it's not stretchy). It's lighter than quilting cotton (just 2.89 oz/square yard compared to 3.7-4.3 oz/s.y. for most quilting cottons).Â
If you know Liberty cotton lawn (they call theirs "Tana Lawn"), that's a very luxurious, silky (and very expensive) version of cotton lawn that's woven in Italy. This is the budget version of cotton lawn, light and lovely but affordable. Â
This fabric is sold in half yard increments: one unit equals one half yard. The fabric will be cut in one continuous piece regardless of how many units you order (i.e. if you order 4 units you will receive a single 2 yard piece).
This is a lightweight 100% cotton fabric and is 44/45" (110 cm) wide.
