This lovely floral print is a Liberty classic. Inspired by Liberty's large collection of Victorian pattern books, Emma Georgina is based on two tiny, dense floral prints. Emma was first produced on Tana Lawn in the 1970s; Georgina was launched in 2000.
NOTE 1: This is not traditional quilting fabric, although many people love to use it for quilting. This fabric is "Tana Lawn," a luxuriously smooth cotton that drapes beautifully and feels like silk. This fabric makes stunning blouses, dresses, accessories, quilts, and home decor items.
NOTE 2: Because this fabric is so exquisite and expensive, I am experimenting with selling it differently than other fabrics in the shop, in .25 yard increments. If you would like to order more than 1 yard, simply select the number of each unit you would like: i.e. if you would like 2.5 yards, select 2 one-yard units and one half-yard unit. Don't worry if the items are listed separately in your cart; the fabric will be cut in one continuous piece.
From Liberty: "Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it is perfect for both simple separates and spectacular statement pieces."
This is a premium quality, lightweight lawn, 100% cotton, made in Italy, and is 53" (136 cm) wide.
