This unusual chess print is covered with tiny squares in navy, aqua and periwinkle - this lovely, classic blue colourway is now out of print. An angular, fun print, Checkmate is quite a contrast to the detailed florals we're used to seeing from Liberty. This print would make a gorgeous shirt!
NOTE 1: This is not traditional quilting fabric, although many people love to use it for quilting. This fabric is "Tana Lawn," a luxuriously smooth cotton that drapes beautifully and feels like silk. This fabric makes stunning blouses, shirts, dresses, accessories, quilts, and home decor items.
NOTE 2: Because this fabric is so exquisite and expensive, I am experimenting with selling it differently than other fabrics in the shop, in .25 yard increments. If you would like to order more than 1 yard, simply select the number of each unit you would like: i.e. if you would like 2.5 yards, select 2 one-yard units and one half-yard unit. Don't worry if the items are listed separately in your cart; the fabric will be cut in one continuous piece.
