From the "Blush" collection by Art Gallery Fabrics, this is a very sweet printed knit, stretchy and very soft (Art Gallery knits are expensive for a reason - they're excellent quality, super soft, and wonderful to sew!)
This is a jersey knit, 95% cotton and 5% spandex. the perfect weight for tops or leggings, but also nice for dresses, and loungewear. Not transparent at all, with about 40% four way stretch, and incredibly soft and comfortable.
The girl's dress shown is one I made from this fabric as part of my children's line for Red Thread.
This fabric is sold in half yard increments: one unit equals one half yard. The fabric will be cut in one continuous piece regardless of how many units you order (i.e. if you order 4 units you will receive a single 2 yard piece).
This is a medium weight (175g per m² or 240 gram/Lyd) knit fabric, 95% cotton and 5% spandex.
This is wider than traditional quilting fabric – it’s 152cm (58-60") wide.
Prewashing is recommended for all knits, and all fabrics that will be used for garments. as this fabric will shrink a bit the first time you wash it.
Speaking of washing, the manufacturer's care instructions are: Machine wash warm or cold, normal cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron without stretching.
